I guess it's the color I ordered, rose gold. Seems black and a couple other colors are shipping first.
You can order through tmobile site with code fallfun30 for 30% off bringing cost to 207.99
Just a thought.

Even at $227 shipped to my address, can't make myself pull the trigger on the purchase with the reviews on it. Tried to play with it at a BB Friday, but it wasn't linked to a phone yet.
Based on everything, not just talking about price, the Sony SW2 is looking like a better choice. I think the gear was rushed. It is available at the Best Buy near where I live.
Most comparisons I've seen give the upper hand to the Gear.

I really like the gear here are the problems I see for me which makes me favor the SW2.
SW would work with my S4 today.
Broader range of apps available as it uses the play store.
SW has better battery life.
Lastly if I wanted to switch to another brand of phone, I am not locked into Samsung.
I am impatient but the watch I really want to see is the Qualcomm toq coming. That looks pretty well done.
I have had my gear for couple days now and completely satisfied. Works great in a pinch to answer calls and take quick photos. I posted this photo in another thread and couldn't be happier with performance. It will be even better with more functions but for now working great. This comes from a guy who never wears a watch.
FYI mine charges wicked fast and used today off and on from 8 am till 9 pm still had 85 percent use. This is checking time often, snapping couple of photos and checking weather and answering a call.

I got it to work with the S4. The only thing that I noticed is that it didn't pull the weather information. I didn't do other things like take pictures during the brief time that I had it paired.
The battery life hasn't seemed that bad to me. Standby battery consumption is very little. I took it off of the charger last night and woke up this morning to a 100%-charged battery. The battery life will go down as you are actively using it, but that's expected with any device.
That's a really nice photo. Wouldn't have expected that to come from the gear. I'm getting more and more excited about my purchases now to wait on Verizon.

It's pretty limited when using it with the S4 currently compared to the Note 3. S Voice doesn't work so there is no sending texts from the watch like with the Note or any voice commands, notifications don't work, no weather, no linking the pedometer with S Health, it doesn't re-pair automatically with the S4 probably 50% of the time at least and for some reason it has a bug where sometimes when you place a call on the phone it still goes to the watch. The experience on the Note 3 is considerably better.

I ran to Best Buy to try to get a Galaxy Gear yesterday with but they just about laughed at me. :-( I had to order it through AT&T.

Why did couldn't you get it from Best Buy? Was it just that they were sold out or was it something else?
