Galaxy j5 option to move app to sd card gone

[AC Question]

When I first bought Samsung galaxy j5 there was an option on apps to move to sd card. If this wasn't allowed it would be greyed out. Under installation manager it also allowed options to look at apps running sd card apps and status of all apps. Now clicking on installation manager it only gives a list of apps. Options previously there now gone. Click on app from list doesn't have option to move to sd card either. I have read that this model doesn't allow app move to sd card but why was it initially there then just changed ?
