Galaxy Nexus Batteries losing capacity

I have an external battery charger for my Galaxy Nexus and multiple batteries. 2 are OEM and the rest are China-knockoffs.

I am experiencing horrific battery life, way worse than even the GNex should experience. I'm lucky to get 2 hours of battery life with the OEM batteries and much less with the knockoffs. Is there any possibility that using the external battery charger has weakened the capacity of the batteries?

I've tried different ROMs and calibrating and resetting battery stats.

This user has a similar problem I think: Amazon.com: Ken Glossbrenner's review of Travel External Dock Battery Charger For S...
That is a different charger than I have but it's similar.

Can anyone with any technical knowledge on batteries explain to me what might be happening?

How new are batteries? Over time batteries will lose their ability to keep a charge. If you are a heavy user that needs to charge multiple times a day then you will wear the batteries out exponentially faster.

One came stock with release GNex. The other I obtained about 6 months ago.

I find it hard to believe that in 6 months it's degraded 'naturally' this much.

Yeah, six months really isn't that long for an OEM battery. Maybe something is going on internally that's causing it to "leak". Hard to say for sure though.

I just ordered another OEM battery. Guess we'll see if it's battery or device issue after it gets here.

Just prolonging the inevitable need to upgrade, I suppose.
