Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery - Verizon

2100 with charger. Obviously.

The 2100 does not come with a seperate charger. Also It seems the charger its self is a no go, they are only selling it with the battery. On amazon there are Generic chargers but who knows if they work...

so far, I haven't seen any pictures of the charger by itself. I've only seen it packaged with the battery with lower mAh. that's my dilemma...

also, is there going to be an issue with swapping out the batteries. one of the articles posted here stated that the NFC antenna in the battery with half the "recalibrate" (so to speak) with the NFC chip in the phone, thus causing issues? is that true?

P3Droid said NFC worked fine. Its just an Antenna so id assume all/most of the stuff is taken care of the chip on board.

Bumping this up for you Nexus folks.

This extended battery is on sale 50% off right now, so $24.99 + tax in store, or online $24.99 + tax and free ground shipping.

If you know anyone with a Galaxy SII or SII Skyrocket, this also works for them (albeit a little snug)

It's been 50% off for a few months, and I finally picked one up two weeks ago.

To all those on the fence as I was, buy it now. It's completely worth it.

Although the increase in mAh doesn't seem like much, the actual practical difference in longevity is huge, at least in my experience. I can go 1-2 days on one charge with moderate to heavy use and moderate brightness. On the regular battery, I could only go less than a day with the 10% brightness. Long car drives with Pandora and 4G don't require me to use my car charger all the time. And the difference in thickness is extremely minimal.

Obviously your individual mileage may vary, but it's an excellent purchase.

Funny... bc i feel the complete opposite. The difference from the oem samsung to the extended samsung is so minute... that it didnt make a huge difference.. i am still using the extended battery.... but to be safe... it will still need a late afternoon charge..

I could sneak on by with a full charge. Meaning leave the house at 9am... come by around 7pm... i will have approx 18-20% remaining.

I would like to know how ppl are getting 2 days worth of usage on a full charge.

They don't actually use their phones as often as most people do. That and they probably have background data off.

The days that I only take a few short phone calls and answer less than 10 texts... I can get a full day without topping off charge. If you don't actually use the phone, you can get great battery ;)

And screen time has to b less then 8% to get more then a day out a of the battery. And leave only wifi on.

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Xparent Cyan Tapatalk

I have brilliant battery life with the stock batter, but still wanted some more juice. I just received this battery and it does in fact change the thickness a little.

I have a Casemate Barely There case (which is brilliant) but because of a small change in the hump at the bottom of the phone, it no longer fits as well as it used to. Just a warning to anyone who was looking to buy this but still use a minimalist case.

Does anyone know if the descirption for an extended battery when it says it is for Verizon, will it be compatible for the Sprint G Nexus as well?

I do not believe so. Sprint, verizon, GSM all have a different extended battery.
