Galaxy Nexus not Recognized on PC - Windows 7 64 Bit

Hello.

Man I thought I finally got the perfect Nexus after 2 replacement ones. Excellent 4G service, screen wasn't "dark", everything was just perfect. I had an issue with screeching on outbound calls and it was fixed, was waiting 3 weeks for that. Now it's done, let's go Root, Unlock, and Get AOKP Milestone 4 and make this Nexus 10x more awesome than it already it is.

NOPE! Computer doesn't recognize my GNexus when connected by USB, I don't have the original GNex charger/usb cable cause long story short I traded it in for my Razr Maxx, forgot to bring the Razr Maxx's charger and was too lazy to go back home so I just used the Maxx's charger on my GNex. And it worked just fine the past 4th GNexus I had transferred data and charged just fine.

This one charges (power outlet), but refuses to be recognized by PC. As in I plug it in, doesn't even do the slow pc charge, it's like it was never plugged into the PC. I'm on Windows 7 64 Bit.

Tried using different USB cables, and different computers, same result.

What things can I try? Before calling Verizon for a 4th Nexus?

I have a bazillion Nexus cords because Asurion only ever wants the device back. PM me and I can def mail you one of the 5 I have with a brick. LOL, do you need an extra battery as well?

Well I'm getting the screeching noise again so the phone again is a damn problem, so don't even bother, thanks a lot for the help though. Not everyone is willing to make that offer ^_^.

Anything phone-related I can try?

Not that I know of. I think I had the same problem and it did go away - you mean the speaker/earpiece is making that noise? I swear, I waited for this cursed mother, and it has done nothing but given me grief.

sorry for your troubles.
I am on my third and at work, 64 bit windows 7 it connects whenver it feels like it.
The only true way to get it working for me is powering off the device and switching usb ports.

make sure your screen is unlocked on the phone mine does nothing till i unlock the screen . windows 7 64 bit

I lose root when upgrade to 4.0.4 now i'm using windows 8 and nothing work download again root toolkit and said no compatible program do you have any idea how to fix this thanks in advance
