I ran into a few delays uploading this review.. but i finally got it up....the concept and idea of the power pack I9250 is excellent, but is poorly executed.... i was really looking forward to this being my main protective case, as it can double up as an external battery as well....
Samsung or mophie def needs to develop an external battery case for the G-nexus and do it properly.....The lack of support of these cases is very disappointing , and should be addressed, hopefully maybe samsung or mophie will watch my review and take action about this...lol

Thanks for the review. I was on the fence about getting one but now I really don't need it.

Thanks for the feedback... 1 question though.. do you think it was too long of review or it was enough Intel on the case to justify a 18min review?

Sadly you never fully charged the case. It requires at least 8 hours to charge and at least 12 hours the first 5 times you use it (Don't watch the Dummy lights while charging). Since it's input/output is only 500mA why would you use it as a "phone on" charger in the first place?

I understand is requires nearly 4 years of college to fully wrap the mind around how batteries work so I will offer the little insight I can.

This case is not a charger(JuiceBox) at all or in any way. It is a battery in a case you can connect to your phone's internal battery to split work load. There is no charging circuit within the device. So you will never get a decent charge from it trying to use it as one but you can use it to extend the life of your own battery by splitting the load between the two batteries.

I would love to see you do a review of how this case works when you fully charge it first then use it only when you are "screen ON". Then see how much use you get out of it.

P.S. I fully agree it is cheaply made and has MAJOR flaws and does not even work for protection much at all but I don't think you gave it a fair run through in regards to the battery part..

Thanks for the review, I was looking for something like this but it looks like I'll have to wait a little bit longer for one that works as advertised and also for my Verizon GNex. The review I thought was a little long, though helpful. Maybe cut it down to 5 min for better watching? Thanks again for the review!

Just curious where did you see this advertised? Because in China it is advertised as a Power Pack or External Battery but never a Charger.

No offense taking... I'm not even gonna lie... when I was researching about this case before I bought it.. and seen the 500mah input/output I figured it probably wouldn't charge it similarly to an outlet charger... and yes that become apparent you use it to split the road work and slow the discharge... but for the added bulk n weight, the intrusive-ness of your power button & volume rocker, cheap build quality, and as far as it being a case! SMH...........HORRIBLE!.... and I actually charged the case past 8hours during the rundowns... ultimately this is not worth the money... especially if the device were to slip out your hand and take the G-nexus face plant of death...if you ever seen drop test for the G-nexus the Face is the only spot the phone can't survive a fall...

I still like your reviews :)

Thanks ..... on an off topic I'm currently working on a video showing the destruction of a perfectly good HP envy 17' 3D 2011... may even name "Hp envy SMASH!" The smash is a reference to hulk since I'm a Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 fanatic....

I actually like the case. The phone fits better when i leave the battery door off. It adds a conciderable amount of weight and thickness but not as bad as i was expecting. Overall not bad for the money. 24.00 well spent.
