I found an app on my HTC called Face Lock. I disabled it and haven't had the error message since. That was over 3 hours ago. No reboot either.

Hey, my Samsung Galaxy S4 has had a UI error for quite some time now...
Unfortunately, System UI has stopped.
I have tried factory resetting multiple times, even changing the firmware with no results

This has pretty much rendered my phone useless

Any help would be much appreciated

I owe a HTC dual sim (CDMA-gsm) mobile.

The above ref. message displays on my screen every 10 days approx and repeated on almost any operations on mobile.

The display bar on the top of the screen when this stack overflow happens. And this May last for 36 to 48 hours and after that the phone works normally.

What is the perm enact solution?

I see the System UI app but it does not give me the uninstall option. I tried to delete it from my folder app and that isn't an option either. What can I do?

do I need to have it repaired, still under guarantee

Sorry for replying late but if face such a problem you will have to erase all content by clicking on factory settings
