Galaxy Note 10.1: bluetooth pairing issues

Galaxy 10.1 2014 will not pair with my Sony SDH-20 Bluetooth headset. Understand bluetooth performance is a issue with this tablet. Any ideas on a ssolution.

I have a set of Plantronic Backbeat 903+ and my Note 10.1 2014 paired up without any problems at all. As I'm sure you did - I went to settings, turned on Bluetooth, turned on my ear buds (I had to hold the button on the buds down a few seconds) and bingo. Make sure your ear buds are turned on and the Note will let you know they they are paired. Good luck.

Thanks. I messed with the scan timeout setting and managed to get the device paired.
