I've been playing around with this for about an hour now and can't find the answer, nor anyone else having the same problem. So, I think I'm overlooking something easy here and just don't know what it is..

As mentioned the unit is a Verizon Note 2, with Jelly Bean11 build. I installed GO DIALER and configured it the way I like it. I can dial out with it okay, however when I receive a phone call, it comes in using the default dialer and NOT Go Dialer..? I checked all the settings, reset the default apps, uninstalled the dialer and reinstalled and still having the same issue...

Thoughts...? or is it something that I'm overlooking...?

Thanks for any help...

That is the way it is suppose to be. You can't replace the default dialer as it is part of the system app.

I guess I'm confused as to why that is... I can change the launcher, SMS and even the browser, but not the dialer... ?

The sms is a good example. You don't really replace the sms app. All you do is put an overlay on top or mask it. Your messages are still sent through them.
Incoming message is received by the default sms and then on to your replacement sms app like forwarding an email.
