Anyone use after market batteries for their note 2? Batteries bought on Ebay or Amazon. I saw this wall charger and 2 battery combo for 20 bucks on Amazon. Anybody have any thoughts?

sure. my thought is that this phone's battery lasts an incredible time--even longer than the extended battery (Moto brand) for the Bionic. this is the first phone I've not been interested in buying an extra battery for. my thoughts on aftermarket batteries is simply this: don't. you can't really be sure how well they will perform and they could even cause a hazard. having said that, I've used some AM batteries in some devices and while they didn't "blow up", they SUCKED.

Thanks for the insight. My Note is not lasting 20 hours like a lot of people here. Im getting about 8 hours still far better than my iphone 5. I just purchased that combo pack and will let everyone know what I think

My thoughts exactly, with this phone you don't really need extended batteries unless you plan on going on a road trip or something. Phones been off charger since 6am and still going strong. uploadfromtaptalk1357161784488.jpg

Well, granted my display has been on only 2hrs. I see that yours has been on longer. I don't use my note during classes unless I use it to check the time once inna while. But I suggest a battery pack. I carry one with me, its 12000mAh. I think its called like trednet or something like that, recharge s my phone 4 times if need it to. :D

I have those exact Anker batteries. I've actually been really satisfied with my extra pair. They last just as long as the battery that came with the phone. Instead of plugging my phone into charge every night I just rotate between batteries. It works for me.

This is what I got using the anker battery-

I use the daylights out of my note 2. so much so that I am on track to use over 8GB this month. tons of screen time. almost no video. lots of music listening. on average about an hour or so of talk time. plenty of misc stuff... the battery lasts me all day, from before 6:30AM til bedtime

I just ordered some backup batteries for mine, I travel a lot and doubt even this battery can handle my travel demands on a phone. I've used off brand batteries extensively for years, the ones on amazon with 4 stars or more are usually pretty good for around $20. The anker ones pictured above are pretty darn good. I'd stay away from ebay.

Only use oem batteries. Off brand new in ebay are garbage. Short charge cycles and life cycles. Good rule of thumb with electronics is, you get what you pay for, except for Mac stuff

I actually saw that and got them about 2 weeks ago. I had 2 Anker batteries for my original atrix they were fine. But I have used them in this and I get about the same time as the OEM battery..common to get 22-28 hours on 1 full charge. just did a long drive and used google maps a lot of the way..I got..I thin between 8-10 hours using google nav that whole time but was happy. I got batteries so if I go skiing I can use tracking apps or others stuff while skiing and I know I only need 1 spare battery just in case then worst case I have 1 spare in car for end of the day.
