Galaxy Note 2 stops playing music

This has just started to happen in the past month. I use my note 2 to listen to different radio services ie: Songza, Tune In radio, Radio Tunes and my personal library. I play it through a set of bluetooth speakers. The issue is that the app will play for approximately 6 min and then it stops.
I thought it might be my wifi signal .... so played from my library on the phone .... still stops playing. I thought it may be something to do with the screen lock so disabled it .... still happens.
Next I played music from the phone only with no bluetooth hookup .... just use the phone speaker. It stops playing music after about 6 min ...
Can anyone suggest to me what setting would cause this type of behavior with the Galaxy Note 2

As an update I started to uninstall apps ...first was google music ... second was an app called Alert Me. After that music would play with no problem. Just finished running for over an hour with no issue.
