Galaxy Note 2 - T mobile to straight talk

I was wondering if someone can show or link me to a step by step process on how to put my note 2 on to straight talk? I found out I have a blocked imei because I bought it off a guy on craigslist. (My luck right?) Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance

If you have a tmo version, unlock it and get an att straight talk sim

Will I need a different sim to unlock it? I tried to unlock it from the secret menu by entering *#197328640# in the dialer but it does show the "nv intiallz" step
