galaxy note 2 touch screen broken

I attempted to fix my cracked plastic on my phone but broke a ribbon in the process. this ribbon is located on the top left which apparently controls the touch feature for the screen. my phone no longer works with my fingers, but only works with the pen. is this an easy fix, or will i need to get a whole new digitizer?

Re: galaxy note 2 touch screen broken

Those ribbons are fragile and can be esily damaged. However, I would suggest going to one of those screen replacement stores either at the mall or local cell phone store and ask them. There might be a relatively inexpensive fix.

I was the person that posted this question. I decided to create an account afterwards.

I was hoping to avoid phone service shops in my city as they are rip off. wouldn't hurt to talk to them tho but im skeptical as to which store would have a person that actually know this kind of stuff, as most of the stores just employ people who are half smart and can follow youtube guides. the reason why i attempted to replace the screen by myself.
