Galaxy Note 3 - Auto-Correction

Hi there,

When i am typing misspelled words, they are not automatically corrected. Even though the auto-correction and predictive text is on.

Any idea why this is happening?

It depends on the language you put on your keyboard

It is set to English.

It DOES bring up suggestions but does not auto select one of them.

I hope I am clear :/

The correct word spelling as the device sees it should be the one in the middle of the suggestion line. Same thing with the other keyboards for Android, like SwiftKey and Swype.

Go to system settings>controls>language and input>Samsung keyboard settings and make sure auto replacement is turned on.

It turns out that it was on but there was some weird Chinese setting that was on... i turned it off.
