Galaxy Note 3 - Optimal Settings for Encoding Video for GN3

Can anyone help advise the optimal codec, resolution and audio format for watching videos on the GN3 to take advantage of the full screen without any 'letterboxing'

I would love to be able to watch videos recorded elsewhere on my GN3 using the full screen capabilities and hence would like to know the optimal settings to do so

While I've always used H.264 Codecs with the MP4 and AC3 Audio Containers for my iPhone movies, id love to hear some other opinions of better versed encoders our there as well...

File size is just as important as quality!
