All you have to do to get my magazine back (assuming you want to) is enable it as a gesture in Nova. You can even opt to make it a swipe up gesture like the way it opens on touchwiz.

I wanted a lockscreen that would showcase the gorgeous screen with as little clutter as possible, hopefully once rooted I can remove the bottom "T-Mobile" words. .. But I think this is gorgeously clean. ..
