I got a notification on my laptop last night that there was an update downloading for my Note3 and S4 I didn't get a chance to see what the Note3 update includes, but I will update when I get home...

I was simply letting him know it's true for the S4. Since Google edition of phones don't have Kitkat I don't see it for the Note 3 for a little while. Sorry!

Someone on XDA claiming that their N3 just updated to new build via OTA update on verizon.

He is claiming he's now on JSS15J.N900VVRUMBMJ7.

Which would be odd since I'm showing my verizon N3 is on JSS15J.N900VVRUBMI9

I had just got the update for the firmware last night via KIES and it too updated it to MJ7. I like to know how you have MI9.

AFAIK, my N3 has never updated. So if I'm on M19, I always have been.

NVM found answer myself. It is newest version.

Lengthy thread from recent updaters here. Appears there are actually TWO new updates via Kies....just nothing via OTA yet. No release notes either.

Verizon’s Galaxy Note 3 Receives First Update, Improves Sound Quality and Connectivity

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on Verizon is receiving an update this week which addresses the two complaints we have heard on a consistent basis in our inboxes: connectivity issues and terrible sound quality. Seriously, that’s all that is listed. The fixes must have been that simple. Edit: The new build number is VRUBMJ7 and should take 5 minutes to install.

A couple of readers have already reached out, claiming that the update popped up on their devices, one through Verizon’s update tool and the other OTA. Go check!
