Galaxy Note 3 - When I turn off the screen...........

When I am done looking at my phone i hit the button to lock the phone but recently its been taking a second or 2 to turn the screen off. When I go to put it in my pocket the screen is still on. Just a little laggy is all. Any help on that? Thanks

Do you have any games or a lot of apps running in the background? Does this happen after you restart the phone?

How do you SEE the recently opened apps on this thing? My wife just got hers Thursday and is still messing with it. Pretty nice phone.

If you hold the home button down, it should bring up a list of apps. I think that's what you're looking for.

I have this problem and many others over the XDA forum as well. I'm not sure what is the cause but I think it might be something to do with 4.3 and it will be fixed with the up coming update ?

If for some reason you don't want to turn it all the off and restart it at some point, besides clearing the apps in the task manager, go to the ram icon, little ball thing on lower left, when you tap that you'll get a screen where you can clear ram and you'll be surprised at how many apps have to be cleared.
