I currently have a Note 3 on Verizon that I've had for 2 and a half years. It's still functional, but it's definitely on its last legs. Should I go ahead and upgrade to the Note 5 now or take my chances and hold out for the 6? Everything I've heard is the 6 will be a massive upgrade. Thoughts?

I'd wait for the 6 to be honest. When you say your N3 is on it's last legs, what are you referring to?

Battery drains quickly, RAM is eaten up often slowing the processes down, and other typical things that a 3 year old phone might do.

Battery replacement might tide you over 'til 6 releases for that issue. 5 is a really sweet ride, but since the 6 is apparently slated to increase RAM and get expandable storage back, that would be very tempting to wait for.

I picked the Note 5 last year, and still have no regrets. I got the 64 gig version, and it's still the best phone I've yet owned, and really has taken every bit of virtual punishment I can mete out and kept going smoothly. The right deal could make it worthwhile, but I'm lucky in having annual upgrades available to me.

You can wait and if you don't want to get it, the 5 will be on sale
