I upgraded to Galaxy Note 8 Duos short time ago from Galaxy S6 not realizing there are some drawbacks. I am running Android 8.0.0 (with Nov 1, 2018)

1. When Bluetooth is on, my device is discoverable. I do not see an option on Bluetooth Connections screen to disable 'Discoverable'. Am i missing something?

2. My mobile provider is AT&T. I do not see the 4G or LTE on the data icon. Is this device. Is my device (SM-N950FD) LTE compatible?

1. When you're not on the Bluetooth screen it shouldn't be discoverable.

2. AT&T uses LTE, they don't use the old 4G system without LTE. Run LTE Discovery and you'll see what you're connected to. (Or ask your AT&T store where the Device Support Center is, go there and, if they're not busy, ask if they can explain why you don't see an LTE symbol. (The Pixel 2, just for reference, doesn't show it either.)

I moved this from the Galaxy Note forum (for the ancient original Note phone) to the Note8 forum for more specific traffic.

Phone is defo 4G/lte compatible anyway , my first N8 was a Duos Exynos version

Bluetooth discoverable stops after some time and there should be a stop button to stop it manually.
