Galaxy Note 9 - Alarm starting unexpectedly when random notification is received

Regarding my Galaxy Note 9 - my Alarm clock is going off unexpectedly when a random notification is received, has anyone experienced this - I uninstalled the app that had sent the triggering notification but that's extreme - any workarounds out there?

Have you did a restart of the device after uninstalling that app?

I got a silly question. But you said that the alarm clock is going off unexpectedly when a random notification is received. Is the app thats popping up the alarm clock? Is the alarm clock set to go off? What does the alarm clock saying. Or is it a notification from another app that just happens to use the same sound file as the alarm clock. I don't see how the alarm clock could be sounding without something being set in the alarm clock or without the alarm clock posting something on the screen.
