Galaxy Note 9 screen issue

Hi friends.
My sisters Note 9 started to malfunction.
I'm not expert to this,but this looks to me flat cable issue or screen must be replaced?

I moved this from the Galaxy Note forum (for the original Note phone) to the Note9 forum.

I heard of software update causing this issue awhile back , not sure if it got resolved in future software updates

No issues for me seeing them ,I know of this issue on Note 9 and S9 series

Oh sorry, I didn't realize it was a link to an outside image site. I was only looking at the thumbnails at first.
