Galaxy Note 9's "Lift to Wake" Feature Not Working!

Are you in any type of power saving mode that maybe disable it?
If not already, try and put it in performance mode

It was in OPTIMIZED mode. I selected PERFORMANCE mode and did the search again.
No joy.

I restart after any app update, but I'll give it a whirl...

Restated while still in HIGH PERFORMANCE MODE.
Went to SETTINGS > Advanced FEATURES and see no MOTION & GESTURES.

Ya on my verizon it would only work about 3/4 of the time. The samsung LED case when opened turns it on 100% of the time. Now thats how I roll!

No, I'm in the "I'll stay on Oreo until the Rapture group". I used AdHell 3.1 to disable both SYSTEM UPDATE apps on mine and the wife's Verizon Note 9s. Hopefully, that works at holding off the pie.

I usually leave AOD on , just don't like lift to wake as I'm walking holding phone it wakes up the screen I end up hitting buttons or if I have it on passenger car seat from vibration it wakes the screen also

Long press icon AOD in notifications panel then go always on display and tap always on or schedule, or tap to see it
