Galaxy note with gophone plan personal hotspot

Im using att $50 gophone plan, it have unlimited minute, text, and data. I have changed the apn, and it working for internet now, but i can't use the personal hotspot. Is there a way to hack it or install something to use the personal hotspot?

I like that FoxFi app, I do not need to tether often, but it comes in handy and since my Streak broke, been missing it!

If rooted, install titanium backup, and freeze or uninstall "tethering manager".

Then you can use the stock hotspot.
