Galaxy S II 4g question

I have been speculating on buying a Galaxy S II 4g from ATT. I currently don't use a data plan or plan on buying one. I only have unlimited talk and sms. I have been told that upgrading to a 4g SIM card from my 3g one will cost monthly and am wondering if this is true.

if you have a Galaxy S2 on AT&T, they will make you purchase at minimum a $15 per month data plan.

You are required to buy a data plan with the Samsung Galaxy S II AT&T. If you don't want data plan, pay $500-$550 for the International version.

This won't work either...well it will... until they catch you. Then they will force the minimum data plan on your account.
