Galaxy s10 plus notifications.

How do i make it so I get sound on some notifications and others are silent but still show up? It appears to be all or nothing.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps, select an app you want to be silent, tap Notifications, tap the word for the category you want silent (i.e., not the toggle switch), then select Silent.

Long press the app then tap info then notification each menu will take u to sub menu where you can choose silent, banner, tone

A lot of times, you can't do that. Can you find an option in the Settings>Sound menu for the bootup sound? If not, then see if turning on Silent Mode before powering it off keeps it silent when it boots back up.

Try this , go settings>apps>system apps>scroll to System UI then tap>notification tap>tap phone restart >turn to silent

If it didn't work then nothing else you do on the stock firmware besides putting on silent before rebooting
