galaxy s2 not recoginzed

I have a samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket. My pc will not recognize it when I plug it in via usb, I have downloaded the driver. Actuallt it recognizes it sometimes. Help

Have you restarted the PC after the downloading of the drivers?
