Looking for a tempered glass that doesnt have the circle for the fingerprint.
Has anyone ordered any on ebay or amazon.
I know the Ultra has a screen protector already installed.
But I honestly prefer the tempered glass option for more protection. Screenshot_20200228-121726_Amazon Shopping.jpg

That is exactly what I dont want a circle for a fingerprint that messes the aesthetics of the ultra.

I've had the whitestone dome before. Too expensive and if your not careful 10000 percent your pretty much done.

I picked up a two pack for 39 bucks. So for $19.50 each its not really that bad to help protect a $1400 phone.
I am sure there will be some cheaper ones coming out on amazon in the next few weeks.

I think the key to them working with the fingerprint scanner is you have to get one that is a liquid install with the "glue". so there is no air gap and the sensor can read your prints.

I have used this brand before also and it worked well.

i've tried two so far, both are beyond terrible with the exact same flaw. magglass by encased and olixar. both have some glue substance in the fingerprint scanner area. instructions say to work this into the display, but you're left with some cloudy film that basically makes the fingerprint sensor useless. avoid these like the plague, they just dont work.

i have an order out for a set of 2 from moko which don't have any mention of a fingerprint glue or cutout in the description. i'll see tomorrow and report back. in the meantime, i'm rocking the spigen neoflex film, which is pretty great for a non-glass temporary solution until the tempered glass situation is sorted out

Why is a finger print sensor in the screen an "improvement" over a dedicated fingerprint sensor in the back? This is scaring me away from such models.
The OP is asking about screen protectors not whether the FPS is better in screen or in the back. To your point there are numerous existing discussions that deal with that debate where that discussion can continue without taking this one off topic.

Sticking with LK's film screen protector. Tempered glass is useless with the On-screen FPS.

The LK tempered glass on my Note 10+ doesn't work even with the recommended turning on display sensitivity.

I've stop buying other glass screen protector on the market ever since white stone dome , for curved display , it has best touch sensitivity, fits most cases , downside initial cost but free lifetime replacement only shipping 9.95 charge each replacement . Also saved my Note 9 screen from a crack screen when it fell about 3 feet .

Yep agree it's all I'll use now. Just got a two pack for like 39.00 from the 40% spin discount. My note dropped 4 or 5 times and the protector broke but not the phone. One time I even closed my s10 I had in my car door and heard a crunch. Shockingly the phone was undamaged the protector was smashed. Well worth the extra 40+ dollars for the protector when you've spent 1500+ on a phone without blinking lol.
