I almost picked up the pixel 9 pro XL but ended up with the s25 ultra. Not sure I am keeping it so far I am leaning towards the pixel.

I think it comes down to preference as both are excellent phones. I didn't even think of switching out my Pixel phone and I've enjoyed it since release day
I traded my 9 P XL for the S25U and have zero regrets. I find the Ultra better in every way

I have both phones, they are each great devices but I personally prefer the S25 ultra and I think that just comes down to what I'm used to, having used samsungs for years.
Never liked Samsung devices but have it a shot think I will return it for the pixel.reasons? share with the class.

If the "base" S25 wasn't so gimped compared to the ultra ( battery / charging ,/ camera tech ,) , I would get one.
The one thing Google and apple get right is a smaller Pro.

I have the small S25, and I really like it. But I would be ready to spend more money for a small version with the Ultra's camera tech.

I tried the S25U at Samsung Store.
I own the 9 Pro XL, 15PM, Flip⁶ and S25. Last year, I sold my S24U.
I love the subtle change Samsung made with the Ultra but not enough to spend the money. It doesn't help Samsung decided to remove the Bluetooth in the S-Pen (not that I use it
) but just hate the move regardless, then increase and price?!?!
I guess if Samsung matched the Flip⁶/Foldables promotion, trade-in I would've considered the Ultra, instead out of boredom I traded in my Pixel 8 for the S25.
I would go with the Pixel 9 Pro XL. IMO it the best phone last year and so far this year.
