Galaxy S3 Battery ?

Does the galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Nexus use the same battery ? Meaning would a Gnex battery fit the Galaxy S3 ? I am getting my S3 tomorrow and have 3 spare batteries from my old and long sold Gnex and would be great if I had 3 spare batteries right off the bat !

i have read that the gnex extended battery will work on the s3, same size and rating. the stock gnex battery is smaller though. so i'd imagie that the stock gnex would fit, but whether or not it would throw an error, i don't know.

Maybe it cannot.

Galaxy s3's voltage is 4.35v, galaxy nexus is 3.7v. so i think it cannot full charge the S3.

I want to buy a replacement battery for my S3, anyone knows what about the Anker battery ?

It seems so cheap only $8.99 and i don't know what about the battery's performance.

stock s3 battery is 3.8v. Says right on the battery.

I bought an Anker 5600 mah battery pack. Small, and plugs right into the phone to recharge it.
Heck of a lot easier than opening the case to change batteries.

I bought the 2 Anker 2200mAh batteries with travel charger to get me through SXSW. I've used both batteries in my phone a few times each. Generally, I get about the same performance as the stock battery. Usually at the end of my work day the stock battery is at about 45% and the Anker batteries were slightly below that (38% to 40%). I recommend them if you don't need NFC.
