Galaxy S3 Freezing at Lockscreen

For some reason, my phone sometimes freezes at the lockscreen, and then I always have to hard reset to get it back. It only does it when the phone is locked, then I cant turn it on no matter what button I press!

Does anyone know why it could be doing this?? I know others that are having this problem too

Yeah but I am using Nova Launcher

Are you using any add-ons (like Widget Locker) that provide lock screen features?
I've used both Swipe and Pattern lock, and am also using Nova Prime on top of stock (rooted; Verizon; 4.1.1), and haven't seen that problem.
Unless you have some apps that might conflict with the regular lock screen (or unless you're using Chrome), I vote for the Factory Reset as well.
