Galaxy S3 Homescreen Problem

I'm having a problem with my GS3. When I open apps and leave them instantly, all the home screen icons refresh. It isn't home screen redraw. All the icons show instantly but for .3 second it doesn't show a shadow (or black) under the icon and in about 1 second it shows. but the major problem is that, when this happens, when scrolling through the home screen it tends to lag and it gets quite annoying. I'm on GS3 stock using touchwiz. I've done a factory reset and a cache wipe. This tends to when my battery up time is up for a while. I'm not sure if it's an app or what. I have a clock widget and lookout anti virus widget but i've removed them and it still has the problem. Any idea on what the problem might be?

How did you do your cache wipe? In recovery?

Thank you and yes i did the wipe cache in recovery and in application manager. But, what i have been noticing (Not 100% sure) is that anything GOOGLE related causes this problem. So im not sure if it is a sync issue or what.

I had typed and submitted a suggestion to factory reset. After I submitted the reply, I saw you did that already. Since I was mobile at the time, I withdrew the question. But posts can't be deleted on the mobile version, only edited. So I edited with the statement that I wrote.
