GALAXY S3 keeps pausing games and hiding keyboard while typing

Hello awesome people of android central,

does anyone know how solve the above named problem. A few examples: the keyboard hides randomly about every 20 seconds, and also pauses games while playing them. It seems to get worse when the battery level gets lower. Any help would be very much appreciated.

You don't give us much to go on.
For example, does this happen if your phone is laid flat on a table, or only when you're handling it?
Does it happen in both portrait and landscape orientation?
What keyboard are you using?
Do you have a screen protector installed, and if so is it perhaps infringing on the proximity sensor?
What game(s) does it happen with?
Additionally, how long has this been going on? Did it perhaps start when you installed some app, or changed some system setting?
What have you tried to resolve the problem?
