Galaxy S3 MINI is officially launched :-)

I think they just want to compete with iPhone 5 with this so called "S3 Mini". Except for the screen size, the compact version held most features of the Galaxy S3.

Honestly its a great budget phone depending on the price they want. Even being 2 and a half year old tech, the old galaxy s super amoled screen was great on my captivate and on most budget phones your lucky to get a half way decent looking lcd. I'm not sure what price they are asking unlocked but it could be a great no contract phone. The name is the problem, creates market confusion.

I am planning to get the S3 mini when it will be available here in the Philippines for my son.
And an S3 for myself.

He wont mind the technical spec difference at this point in time.

I would like just a tad smaller version of the S3 but only if all the features were the same. I think it is just a tad wide.

Either those photos are out of scale, or the mini has a 3.5 inch screen.
