I have the GS3 and took some advice regarding decreasing the "android system" drain. This advice has cut the android system drain in half. Between using the Ultimate Juice Defender (which did take a few days before I saw a difference) and going into settings>>developer options>>limit background processes to "limit 4 processes at most" it has made a world of difference. My battery was last charged to capacity over 15 hours ago and I've received some calls, been on the Internet for a short period of time and used a few apps. I don't have Facebook on my phone. My "android system" had been at 56-62% with the same amount of usage as I've had in the past 15 hours. It is now at 28%. My battery is 92%. I have the (paid) Ultimate Juice Defender set at aggressive and use the "data on/off" toggle as needed. I've seen no degradation and using the data on/off toggle is convenient. Whoever gave this advice has my sincere thank you.
