galaxy s4 boots to black screen showing only time date and notificatons

[Android Central Question]

when powered on galaxy s4 model sgh-i337 goes though normal boot sequence showing galaxy s4 splash screen Samsung logo then atat logo. phone boots to recovery and download mode fine. i have tried re flashing the firmware re flashing android and doing a factory reset. everything i have tried has resulted in the phone booting to a black screen with the following items. emergency calls only text, nfc logo, cell reception, battery icon. time, date. please reply if you know how to fix this. also would replacing the motherboard fix this or is it a different issue.

It would have to go to a repair center to have a diagnosis, do you think it's worth fixing?
