[GALAXY S4] BUG THREAD!! Found a bug?

Vanilla lockscreen notifications don't work!!!
If you have *any* kind of PIN/Password/Pattern on the phone, you can only get the pathetic 3 sec scroll of a message at the top. I've verified with other S4 users too. Huge bug to me as I may leave my phone at my desk for a while at work. Haven't found much more searching web other than it appears to be a problem with Samsung software.

Now for a more annoying problem. The default browser announces "Start of page loading" and "Page loaded". It just started on its own. I've been through every setting and can't find where anything is turned on. All accessibility. TalkBack, etc. is off. Any ideas? Please?

this is a pain for me too... i sorely miss the i phone notifications that showed up on top of the lock screen. With S4 i've to unlock it all the time... once you get to the notification center it rocks

Doesnt help. I think its a software thing. Only on low brightness does it do it.

When i transfer the photos i've taken to windows all of the photos are on landscape even though i've taken some pictures in portrait. I have to rotate them manually in windows.

Every once in a while I get a blank MMS message from "Unknown Sender," and I think that may be a bug in the group texting. Has that happened to anyone else?

Hi Everyone,
I am sort of new to the Galaxy S line and I am shocked that there is 7 pages for a bug thread. Is this common for the S product line is it due to the touchwiz/Samsung applications that are included to the phone? I reported on a thread that when adding message alerts under the Contacts that the alerts don't sound. Instead the default Samsung message/notifications alerts do sound. Customized Ringtone in other hands do actually sounds..

Hey everyone, I need your help or opinion. I'm in Australia and have the GS4 on the Virgin network. 3 bugs I've noticed so far, wondering if anyone else has as well.

1. Air gestures doesn't work.
2. Air view doesn't work.
3. Push email doesn't work. (played around with multiple settings)
4. When I am playing the music player through my car stereo (Aux connection) have hissing static sound. (Have tried other phones/new cable).

I am going to restore the factory settings and reset the phone and see if that helps, wondering if anyone else is having similar problems? or do I just have a bad one and should replace?

Help would be really appreciated

Having the audio issue as well

Another new issue - my battery that usually lasts 15 hours did super poorly on roaming. I usually lose 10% juice in 8 hours of inactivity ie when yhe is idling at night. Today my phone went from 65% to 0 in 7 hours.. may be lesser because I checked only agyer 7 hours .

Also during roaming I had to charge my phone twice during the day. Any tips to manage battery on roaming?

You can try to enable quick view and air gestures to see some notification without having to unlock the pin. Go to air gestures, quick view. Just wave your palm over the idle screen and active notificationd will show... its pretty cool imho. Doesnt show every thing but a small workaround

(Galaxy S4 I9500 unlocked international version) When making and or receiving calls I switch to the speaker for hands free use, that is when the other party does not hear me at all anymore, when I switch off the speaker option the other party always hears me. I did factory reset the S4 two times but this bug still occurs. What can be done to correct this dilemma, does anybody know? Does anybody have a similar bug with the S4 I9500? Cheers.

I have the same problem, when the sd card is mounted gallery crashes, it works fine without the sc card. the card is fine, it works on my s3. what new gallery app do you use?

When using Google Now, if it does not find a contact it gets stuck. It has a button for "find contact" but it doesn't do anything.

Special features don't work. The multi window, the air feature, full screen browser...even after toggling on/off the option, factory data reset, still they don't work as advertised

One bug that's driving me nuts is the ability of the phone to stay properly connected to my Kenwood BT car receiver. On my S3 we had the older sofware (4.1.2?) and I never had issues, I got into the car, the radio would say "downloading" and in 30 seconds I had full use of the phones calling and audio via BT. It was smooth as silk operation. But now that the S4 has the 4.2.2 software, connecting to my receiver has been a roayl PITA. I'd say MAYBE 25% of the time when I hop in the car, the phone connects. When it doesn't, I open the phone setting and find that the BT settings for either "phone calls" or "playing audio" aren't checked (they were when I left the car say the day before). So I have to check each one of those boxes and the the phone starts to connect. Also, using the Pandora app is nearly 95% useless at this point. Whenever I tune into my receivers Pandora source, the phone never connects up to the phone like it used to so I can't get Pandora to play.

I've reset my car receiver, that helped for maybe a day. I've unpaired the phone, that did little to nothing to help. At this point I never know if/when the phone will pair with the car radio at all. At first I thought it was my radio, but now I'm pretty sure it's the darn 4.2.2. software on the phone, since the older 4.1.2 worked perfectly.

So has anyone encountered this? Anyone been able to fix it? Kenwood doesn't have any newer firmware updates so nothing I can do on that end.

VERY frustrating.

I have my phone set to make wifi calls when possible, due to the fact the my cellular service at home and work is not optimal. At any rate, I find that when I move from wifi to cellular or vice versa, calls and messages do not go through unless I reboot the phone.
