Can I ask a dumb question? I up loaded my music to Google play and can't figure out how to download music /playlists to my device so I don't have to stream everything. Any info? Thanks

You'll have to download Google Music Manager to your computer, it will keep everything in sync between iTunes and Google. Once you have your music uploaded to Google, open the Play Music app on your phone, your music and playlists will be there. Any music or playlists can be streamed to your phone through this app or alternatively you can "pin" the music to your phone for offline listening. Just select the settings button on the music and you'll see an option to "keep on device". It's easy.

I think Android File Transfer is needed for Mac. Have you tried that?
