Galaxy S4 removes contacts from "favorite" list

When I designate a contact as a "favorite" on my new Galaxy S4 it stays in favorites for a time then the designation disappears. The contact is still in my contacts list but not a favorite anymore. This has happened frequently. Help?

I've experienced that same and haven't been able to nail down a solution. I just added some favorites into my contacts list and I'll see how it goes and report back. Are you still experiencing this?
