On the Play Store. Running "pure" Android. Updates very fast (if not the same pace as Nexus). LTE, 16gb storage.

The store is HERE.

I really hope a clean port of AOSP comes to the rest of the S4's come in very short order. (Dreaming of a quality Nexus device on Verizon)

Not 16Gb storage. A little over the 9GB the other versions have, since will have less bloat.

Why not a 32GB? That price seems steep for a "16"GB.

I'd imagine that it would have a few GBs available, since they do not have to reserve space for TW. Still, I'd like to have a 32 GB option.

I said the same thing regarding a 32GB Nexus 4 today, I know your feel.

Very cool indeed. Be interested to see a review compared to the standard. Enough to sway me from the HTC? Nearly but not quite...

I'm more curious about things like camera quality and things that Samsung actually does really well in Touchwiz with this.

That's what I question as well, I'm of the assumption that everything is identical to the base S4 except for TouchWiz. It's priced the same as a TouchWiz S4 unlocked so it should do the same things.

The camera software will be different, though, because it runs a Touchwiz-free version. What I'm wondering is if Samsung will port over some of the proprietary camera algorithms to improve JPEG compression and things like that.

So will this have a micro sd card available? Price is steep for 16GB.

I know, it's just what I hope for. Otherwise you could just root an existing S4 and end up with the same phone and not even pay full retail if you don't want to. Samsung features minus the bloat running on stock Android is just a megaton.

Yep.

Doesn't the 16gb S4 cost $649 now if you buy full price? How is this any worse?

639 on att. I got the 32GB for 250. I loved seeing that 22GB left after my apps were loaded.

At least it will have a micro sd card. Is it sold by google or the carriers? Kevin said play store...?

How many who are still within their return period are thinking of returning their S4 for the google S4?

Since I have a nexus 4 and S4 I have to sleep on this....just got my S4 this past Monday.

Updated "promptly" is word Hugo Barra is what worry about Galaxy S4 is will it be behind on updates. Furthermore the "nexus user experience" are another set words I wonder about because I wonder what will actually be missing from this device compared to a nexus device.

I am still excited but I feel this not like what I hope for when heard about customization center rumors a couple years ago.

The fact that you have a choice is what's awesome about this. You can choose to get the Galaxy S4 in Nexus form or keep the Touchwiz experience. Kudos to Samsung and Google for offering this.

I wouldn't worry about this phone unless you just don't care about losing the 32GB onboard storage. I don't think a 32 GB is coming.

Yep. And this means more OEMs in the future might do something like this.
