When I had my s3 and Note 2 I had a file I just placed on my sd card and all I had to do was go into recovery and flash it and it unrooted my phone and brought it back to stock (reset the counter and everything). Is there anything like this for the s4? I want to root, but I want the ability to unroot at any time if I need to (just awesome to be able to have in case I ever get the urge to trade someone phones or if I need to take my phone in for repair or whatever, my Sprint store are a-holes about rooted phones). I am on Sprint (s4 obviously).

Install chainfire?s superuserSU app, it has an option to prepair the phone to unroot, then just download your phone?s stock firmware at samfirmware.com and flash it via odin 3.07. Your phone is back to day 1 of usage.

Edit: Thats how I got mine fully unrooted and clean for Warranty Claim. It even fixed that scary "Cam Failed" error that lots of people were getting, it clears mostly of the softwares failures and errors.

Tell me if it helps or work for you.
