Galaxy S4 with extended battery

One of the reasons I purchased the S4 was the ability to have a removable battery. I have installed an Anker 5200 Mah battery in the S4. It comes with a removable back cover in either black or white. My S4 is white and the new white back cover is a very nice fit. Of course it makes the phone bulge somewhat and it is heavier, but you can get used to it very quickly when you never, ever have to look at the battery percentage and worry if you can get through a long day. I have used Anker products before and they are pretty good. The battery is warranteed for 18 months. If you can get used to the extra weight it's pretty nice. I ordered a extended battery TPU case from Hyperion that fits it nicely.

That thing is pretty enormous. Not sure if its truly the rated 5200 mah. I saw a review that said a day and a half and ~5 hours of screen on time...pretty weak sauce for such a big battery. If I'm going to sacrifice by having a 2x+ thick device, it better truly give me 2x battery life...10+ screen on time.

I purchased the anchor 5200 mah and really like it. I decided to purchase it last week when I went to beach and after 5 hours of heavy use my battery was completely dead.Today with my new battery after 5 hours of heavy use streaming music reading kindle and checking e mails plus a couple of phone calls I left beach I was at 55%.very happy
