Preordered black 16 gb from AT&T today. Email said it should ship 4/8 or 4/9
I'm so excited to be going back to android! Last one was the captivate on 2.1, so I've got a lot of catching up to do!

sooooo, because I have unlimited data, verizon isn't going to let me pre-order tonight if they do start at 12am...or pre-order at all without chagning into one of their BS share everything plans.

after being a customer for 17 years with verizon, watching them try to force me into paying more and not even allowing me to just go on their site, buy a phone at full price and be done with it, is really beginning to **** me off. the only reason i stay with verizon is because we pay 130 for 3 phones and i've got unlimited data. this is ridiculous and annoying. i'd pre-order at best buy, but damn, they're charging like 700 and up for ATT's S5 off contract...that's like $50 higher than the MSRP.

My only concern about pre ordering is that she told me the phone would ship on the 11th. Since that is on a Friday, you wouldn't get it until early the following week. It's quicker just to go into Verizon on the 11th and pick it up yourself.

Radio Shack offered a $50 reduction if you pre order the phone. Giving me $55 for my wife's galaxy 3.. Will end up paying less than $100 for this phone. . And can pick it up on the 11 th

That's a sweet deal. Verizon is selling the phone for $249 then a $50 mail in rebate. Not sure how much they would give for your old phone.

woot woot..customer service chat actually helped me out. they did something on their end, and after it i was able to go in and get aphone off contract without touching the plan whatosever! $599. that's $50 less than i was expecting. awesome!

i got excited when i saw no tax either..then i saw the asterisks and said tax will be calculated when shipped lol doh.
