I got my S5 four days ago, Verizon. Upgrade from the original droid.Wow!. I have a Motorola Bluetooth ear piece, it paired with the S5 immediately on the first day & worked as it did on my previous phone. I turned on Bluetooth on the phone, put the phone in my pocket, then turned on the earpiece got a confirmation beep(s) that it connected. Then I would press the button on the earpiece and a voice would say "Speak Now" . I would say "call John Doe on cell" and it would call. The S5 did this up until yesterday 4/25/14. Yesterday, turned on Bluetooth on phone etc... and then nothing was happening when I pressed the earpiece button, so I pulled the phone out and turned it on. The screed had a message window "Complete action using: Car Mode, Google search, S-voice. Always , just once. So now whenever I want to use my earpiece I need to turn on the phone and dial manually or use Car Mode? I don't want Car Mode, when I'm in the shop and just want to make a calls hands free. It worked for 3 days just like the old phone. I tried factory reset & every setting I could find. I discovered the Car Mode had registered the earpiece as a car. I unregistered it. UGH!!! Can I turn Car Mode off ? My car does not have Bluetooth. If I select Car Mode, Always, where can I change that setting so if I want to try S-voice or Google search next time? I don't want to put my hands on the phone and turn it on every time I want to make a call. I love the new phone but this feature/problem is a deal breaker . Thanks in advance.
