Galaxy S5 Bluetooth Won't Turn On

[Android Central Question]

I have a Galaxy S5 (old I know) that will no longer allow the bluetooth to be turned on. It always worked great but for about 2 weeks now, it does not turn on. I've tried turning it on by the widget and by going into settings to toggle it on. It acts like it wants to turn on (gives me a dim green light) and then goes back to gray. I have tried many different "fixes" I've seen online with no resolve but I figured I'd try here to see if there were any new ideas. I have restarted it, taken the battery out, cleared cache, went into airplane mode, safe mode... I'm desperate for a fix... Help?!?!
