I looked at UAG's website and they have galaxy s5 cases for preorder at $35 a pop. They have a black/clear option that looks awesome!

Re: Buying cases ahead of release?

Last year I bought a JKase DIABLO Series before I even pre-ordered my GS4. It's a great case. I'll be getting one for the 5 as well.

View attachment 110440View attachment 110441just got the Spigen shell case. seems nice! phone is a tad bigger than my G2.

I've had my eye on that spigen case. How thick is it/how much bulk do you think it will add to the phone? I'm looking for the most minimal case possible (just to protect from normal wear and tear, not catastrophic drops or anything like that)

honestly, it's very thin and flexible..the incipio feather is more rigid, so this seems lighter weight than a feather. idk, i think i'll like it.

I hate bulky cases as well.
Incipio feather cases are great. Very slim and good protection from normal wear and tear.

Re: Buying cases ahead of release?

Depends on the case manufacturer. Brand name cases usually fit perfectly, even if released before the phone is. Cheap cases on Amazon or eBay might not

Sent from my Galaxy S4 running SlimKat 4.4.2

Acase is pretty inexpensive and fit beautifully on my devices. They are dual layer case. Check them out on Amazon! Very well made cases for the price.

I purchased the Spigen Tough Armor case and should have it in a few days. I bought a Spigen case for my wife's iPhone 5 and it is really nice quality and has stood up well over time. I would recommend Spigen to anyone looking for a durable case that also looks great.

I'm about to order the copper gold slim armor. does anybody know if the spigen slim armor series has a good cut out for the camera so it won't get scratched?

This phone ain't rugged but I feel like it was meant to not have a case. Especially with that new back. I'm glad I'll be able to changeout the back if something happens. Most phones I have are unibody.

neo hybrid looks sick, but damn is it bulky and square and a pain in the *** to hold. had one for my S4...it pretty much ruined the curves of the S4 and made it into a box. i used it for a few weeks then went back to a TPU lol
