Galaxy S5 camera settings won't save

Hi. Is there a dedicated save selection for the S5 on the camera settings that I'm miussing? It won't save my settings. For example, if I select smooth video recording and then close the camera app, when I open the camera again, it's back to normal setting.

Welcome to Android Central! I think that's normal behavior. For the Google Camera app on my Nexus devices, if I switch to some other mode, then exit the app and then open it again, it will default back to the normal snapshot mode. What it does remember is the HDR and flash settings. I suspect it's the same for the Samsung camera app.
