Galaxy S5 contact issues!

[AC Question]

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S5 and all my contacts are on my SD card from my old phone. When I put the SD card in my new phone, all my contacts are in some asian language (chinese or japanese, etc). The language setting on my phone is English. Anybody know how I can fix this?

How exactly are the contacts on an SD card? Are they saved as a .csv or .vcf file? That's how you need to import them.
