Galaxy s5 Download booster

So I have a verizon S5 and am trying to get download booster to work. I've seem many posts on how to get it on, but it never actually works. Has anyone had any luck?

There's loopholes to get it turned on, but yes. It doesn't seem to work even after turning it on.
