Hi all,

I am looking to get the s5 in June when my upgrade is due.

Thing is I'm currently using a extended battery to get me through the day, so I wonder will there be some available that soon after release as I know the oem battery won't last me.

It's a internal battery I would be after and not an external charging pack thing lol

Thanks for any feedback

I tried looking at a few larger extended battery sites, and came up with nothing. I am sure there will be something shortly after release. I would look at either ZeroLemon or Mugen

I am ready to see which will be the first extended battery for my Galaxy S5. ZL and there's also a bit of interest with MPJ.

Stay away from the Hyperion extended batteries, they're horrible. 3800mAh battery goes down to 60% after 3hrs of light use on the lowest brightness setting. Im at 87% with the OEM battery after three hours of moderate use on medium brightness and watching Netflix for 30 min.

I would check out the zero lemon 7500mah battery on amazon.

lol, that thing looks redonkulous, but I'll probably buy it  I had the ZeroLemon 5900mAh for my Galaxy Nexus and it worked great.

Looks retarded but its the same price as the mugen power 2950mah battery lol if the made like a 3500-4000mah I'd be all over it.

What is everyone's take on Mugen batteries? I have been looking at them - they cost a bit more - is it worth it?

I've always had great experiences with Mugen and their extended batteries. I just bought a gorilla gadgets battery for the s5, though, because it is about a third of the price. I'm hoping the quality is similar.

I have the gorilla gadgets extended battery. Great price and works like a charm. Get right around 2 time the screen time and overall on time on my phone over the stock battery. Been using it for about 2 months now

My husband just got this phone Saturday and he loves it! The battery last quite long!

Definitely. Even on the stock battery I get between 4-5 hours of screen on time. Compared to my old nexus 4 and galaxy S3 that's almost double the battery life.
